‘Blade Runner I’. The final scene in that eerie rain-soaked Los Angeles apartment block, with a dying Rutger Hauer talking to Harrison Ford.

Please can I nominate a second favourite, if only for its stunning end? 'Thelma and Louise'. The finest feminist road movie ever made!

Doing a lockdown Marvel Marathon at the moment. All of them in order, really good how many links and plots go between movies. So clever.

I have categories for favourite films depending on my mood.
For action, Taken
Western Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
Feel-good Crocodile Dundee 1 & 2 (I usually watch both and treat them as one film.
Period Henry V Kenneth Brannagh version
James Bond Goldfinger and or Skyfall (yes, I put Bond in a category of his own)
War "Reach for the sky", "The Cruel Sea" and "Ice cold in Alex" Ok, three favourites there... can't help that!
General Apollo 13.

I love a good film and have a considerable collection. Don't get me started on Box sets either, the lockdown won't be long enough for me to get through them!
