Yes. This uses bbcode which is very similar to my code

When I have time I'll pop up a guide in the information section

This site should only be served on https:// and with an SSL TLS1,2 or better certificate. you are breachign best practice and GDPR regulations

Thanks SG

We had to compromise on cost and speed setting this up. Getting a certificate would have doubled the cost

It's certainly something that will happen when it can be afforded. Don't forget this isn't commercial and is entirely funded by the members. So we are following the best practice available with limited resources

And no, it's not in breach of GDPR. What little personal data we hold is held securely and isn't used for marketing or passed to any third parties

It certainly sounds like a good idea going forward Diamond, but I doubt if getting a certificate will be viable any time soon

I hear you Yuri

We could go https without a certificate, but that would be worse as some browsers like Chrome block sites that don't have one

In practice it makes no difference. It will happen one day

I would say that the personal data you hold is the most sensitive type as it is all your sexual preferences! I do this for a living I am not spouting uninformed rubbish, Marriott hotels just got done £99 Million.
